Installation
Installing MarTech Inspector works just like any other Chrome extension — add it from the Chrome Web Store and you're ready to go.
Installation steps
- Open the MarTech Inspector page on the Chrome Web Store.
- Click "Add to Chrome."
- Review the permissions dialog and click "Add extension."
- Pin MarTech Inspector from the extensions icon (puzzle piece) in the toolbar so it's easy to reach next time.
About permissions
During installation you'll be asked to allow access to every site you visit. That's because MarTech Inspector isn't built for one specific site — it's a general-purpose verification tool that works on whichever site you happen to be viewing.
Cookie, Storage, and data layer contents stay on your own device (chrome.storage.local) and are never sent to an external server. See the privacy policy for details.
Opening the extension
Click the toolbar icon to open the side panel on the right side of your browser. The current site is scanned automatically, and any detected tools appear in the list.
The side panel stays open across tabs
Switch to another tab and it automatically rescans and shows that tab's content.
