Editing elements
In the Live Mock tab, you can select an element on the page and swap its text, HTML, or image on the fly. Use it to check a design before it ships, or verify how content looks after a change.
Selecting an element
- Click "Edit element"
- Hover over the element you want to edit on the page, then click it
- Information about the selected element (tag name, DOM path) is shown
"⬆ To parent element" moves up one level, and "⬇ Back to child" retraces the path you came from. Selecting a new element resets this navigation history.
Three edit modes
- Text: Rewrites the element's text content as-is
- HTML: Rewrites the element's contents as HTML
- Image: Edits a
<img>element's src and other attributes (see below)
Image edit mode in detail
- Enter an image URL directly, or swap in a local image with "Choose file"
- Edit
alt(alt text) and theloadingattribute - Change width / height numerically (Pro plan also offers sliders)
- Pro plan only: rotation, brightness, contrast, saturation, grayscale, and hue-rotation sliders, plus downloading the edited image
Undoing changes
"Applied changes" lists every edit you've made. You can undo them individually, or all at once with "Revert all." Reloading the page automatically reverts everything (since these edits only rewrite the page's live DOM directly).
